If your organization has multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, then you must enter a verification code every time you sign in to Hyland Experience using your Hyland Experience password. The first time you sign in to Hyland Experience after MFA is enabled, you are prompted to set up MFA using an authenticator app.

To set up MFA, you must have an authenticator app installed on a trusted device. You can use any authenticator app that supports six-digit codes. Examples include Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.

To set up MFA:

  1. Follow the steps to sign in to Hyland Experience as described under Signing In with a Password.
  2. When prompted to set up MFA, open the authenticator app on your trusted device.
  3. In the authenticator app, choose to add a new account.
  4. Follow the prompts in the authenticator app to do one of the following:
    • Scan the QR code displayed on the Hyland Experience sign-in page.
    • Enter the Key value displayed on the Hyland Experience sign-in page.
The authenticator app displays a verification code.
  5. Enter the verification code from the authenticator app into the Verification Code field on the Hyland Experience sign-in page.
  6. Click Verify on the Hyland Experience sign-in page.

A list of recovery codes is displayed.

Note: Save these recovery codes in a secure location. You can use them to sign in to Hyland Experience if you cannot obtain a verification code using your authenticator app.
  7. Click Continue to complete the sign-in process.
