The argument pane is located below the workspace area and displays all arguments inside the open workflow.
To create an argument, press Create Argument below the last list item (1). Use the context menu (right-click) to delete, rename or add an annotation to the argument. To rename an argument, proceed as described in the "Rename Argument" section here.
