If you want to automate your process in the Internet Explorer, you need to consider a few settings.
In first instance make sure to have chosen Selenium as Web Automation Provider when opening the IE with the Open Browser activity. For more information, see Open Browser in the RPA Activities documentation.
In addition, you need to adapt some configuration of your browser´s Internet options.
Complete the following steps:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to Tools menu - Internet Options.
- Select tab Security.
- In Select a zone to view or change security settings choose Internet and activate the check-box of Enable protected mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer).
- Similarly, select the check box of Enable protected mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer) for other three options such as Local Intranet, Trusted sites, and Restricted sites.
