Moment X marks the point of no return within a process.
Place the Set Moment X activity after the points in a workflow where the task cannot simply be delayed and executed later (1). This is particularly important for technical exceptions. If the Moment X has not been reached, the task can be delayed, and a client can redo the task. When Moment X is reached, the user must define a strategy to proceed (2). In the example below, the strategy is to write a message to a human worker and raise and finish with the error that occurred and write it to the database.
