To use the SAP GridView activities:

  1. Prepare the following activity structure in your workflow:
    • 1 - Open or Attach Application: SAP
    • 1.1 - Attach Window: SAP Window with GridView
    • 1.1.1 - Get SAP GridView: Indicate your GridView on the screen.
    • 1.1.1.1 [Your SAP Grid Activity]
    • 1.1.1.2 [Your SAP Grid Activity]
    • 1.1.1.3 [Your SAP Grid Activity]
  2. Open the given SAP application in the specific window where your GridView is displayed.
  3. In SAP, open the Script Recording and Playback menu and click Record.
  4. Stop recording by clicking the rectangle in the Script Recording and Playback menu.
  5. To locate the recording, follow the displayed folder path.
  6. To find the necessary information of the given element, do one of the following:
    • Open the created script in a text editor.
    • To get the technical information associated with any element in SAP, set the focus on the given element and press F1.
  7. Depending on the activity you want to perform, add the required SAP GridView activities. All of them will ask you within their Pop-ups for additional information for execution that you have been gathering beforehand.
