When launching Hyland RPA Designer for the first time, you have to activate the license. Do the following:
  1. To retrieve the license key for Hyland RPA Designer:
    1. Log on to the Customer Portal.
    2. In the left pane, select Hyland RPA Platform. 
    3. In the Hyland RPA Designer pane, click Details.
    4. To copy the license key to the clipboard, click .
  2. Launch Hyland RPA Designer.
  3. In the Hyland RPA Designer Welcome dialog box, paste the license key from the clipboard and then click Activate.
    Hyland RPA Designer will open.
  4. In the upper right corner, select Signed out > Change Settings.
  5. In the Change Settings dialog box:
    1. In the Identity Server URL field, enter https://YourURL/identity.
    2. In the Site URL field, enter https://YourURL/heart.
  6. Click Save Changes and then click Sign In.
    Your browser opens the login page.
  7. In the Hyland RPA Identity page, log on with your username and password.
  8. In Hyland RPA Designer, the User information dialog box informs you that you are signed in. Click OK.
