To enable SAP GUI Scripting:

  1. In SAP Easy Access, execute the transaction RZ11.
  2. In the Parameter name field, enter sapgui/user_scripting.
  3. If the current value is not TRUE:
    1. Click Change Value.
    2. In the New Value field, enter TRUE.
    3. Click Save.
    4. Optional: If you are running multiple servers and you want to apply the changes to all of them, select Switch on all servers.
  4. The change does not affect your current session. Log out and log on again to apply the change to your SAP environment.
The changes do not affect your current session. After logging off and back on, the change should have been applied to your SAP environment. SAP scripting is now enabled.
