To add a new Windows Firewall rule so that the firewall does not block the SQL Server communication:
  1. In Windows Control Panel, select Windows Defender Firewall.
  2. In the left pane, select Advanced settings.
  3. In the Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security window, in the left pane, select Inbound Rules.
  4. In the right pane, select New Rule.
  5. In the New Inbound Rule Wizard dialog box, select Port and then click Next.
  6. In the Protocol and Ports pane:
    1. Select TCP.
    2. Select Specific local ports and enter 1433, or the port you used and then click Next.
  7. In the Action pane, select Allow the connection and click then click Next.
  8. In the Profile pane, select Domain, clear both Private and Public and then click Next.
  9. In the Name pane, in the Name field, enter SQL Server Port 1433 and then click Finish.
