To install Internet Information Services (IIS) on the server:
  1. If not already present, download and install Microsoft Server Manager.
  2. Launch Microsoft Server Manager.
  3. From the Quick Start menu, select Add roles and features.
    The Add Roles and Features Wizard opens.
  4. On the Before you Begin pane, click Next.
  5. On the Select installation type pane, select Role-based or feature-based installation and then click Next.
  6. On the Select destination server pane, select your server and then click Next.
  7. On the Select server roles pane, select Web Server (IIS).
  8. In the Add features that are required for Web Server (IIS) dialog box, select Include management tools (if applicable) and then click Add Features.
  9. Back on the Select server roles pane, click Next.
  10. The defaults on the Features pane are sufficient. Click Next.
  11. On the Web Server Role (IIS) pane, click Next.
  12. On the Role Services pane, click Next.
  13. On the Confirmation pane, click Install.
