The last major step for validating that your platform is working properly is to create tasks.

To manually create tasks:

  1. In Hyland RPA Web Manager, in the left pane, select Tasks.
  2. In the Tasks pane, click Add.jpg.
  3. In the Create task dialog box, select your Process from the drop-down list.
  4. Select PRO from the Task type drop-down list.
  5. In the Amount field, enter 5.
  6. Select Pending from the Status drop-down list.
  7. Select Now from the Priority drop-down list.
Note: Source, Input data, Diversity, Execution date, Check diversity, Redoable, and Create another task are optional, and not needed for validation.
The Tasks pane shows the 5 pending tasks.

If RPA Conductor is running on your available agent within the group assigned the process, work on these tasks will begin right away since the Priority has been set to Now.

What happened in the background was that RPA Conductor saw there were tasks to do, downloaded the process file and the activities version it needed to the instance the agent is on, and the work began.

Click in the Tasks pane to see the status has updated to Finished after the 5 tasks are run successfully.

If work does not begin within a couple of minutes, in Windows Services, restart the Hyland RPA Conductor service.
