Multiple users who require the same permissions can be added to groups. A group is then assigned to a specific role that contains the required permissions. Only administrators can create user groups in Hyland RPA Administration.

To create a group:

  1. In Hyland RPA Administration, in the left pane, select Groups.
    The Groups pane is displayed.
  2. Click Create Add.jpg.
    The Create group pane is displayed.
  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the group.
  4. Optional. In the Description field, enter a descriptive text.
  5. Select one or more Roles from the drop-down list.
    Note: Roles include the required permissions and application access provided to the user group. Please check the included permission before assigning a role to a user group.
  6. Click Create group.
  7. Click next to the new group and then click Details.
    The Group details pane is displayed.
  8. On the Users tab, to assign users, click Add Add.jpg.
    The Add users to group dialog box is displayed.
  9. Select the required users and then click Add users.
