Updating the task configuration of a process affects only new tasks to be created. To update the configuration of an existing task, see Updating a Task Configuration.

To update the configuration of future tasks of a process:

  1. In the left pane, on the Automations tab, select Processes.
    The Processes pane is displayed.
  2. Click next to the process whose task configuration you want to edit and then click Details .
The Process details pane is displayed.
  3. Select More > Task configurations.
The Update Task Configurations dialog box is displayed.
  4. On the Service level tab:
    1. In the Expected runtime field, enter the expected execution time for the task, for example 30m or 1h 15m.
    2. In the Maximum runtime field, enter the maximum execution time for the task.
Note: Hyland RPA Conductor terminates the task when the maximum runtime has expired, so set this value carefully.
    3. In the Maximum pending time field, enter the maximum time a task may remain in status Pending until the first run.
Note: This setting is used for reporting purposes only.
    4. Select the Default priority from the drop-down list. The default priority is used for task creation. Hyland RPA Conductor processes the tasks according to their priority.
