To create a task:

In the left pane, on the Automations
tab, click Tasks.
The Tasks pane is displayed.

Click Create
The Create task dialog box is displayed.
- Select the required Process from the drop-down list.

Select a Task
type from the drop-down list:
- DCO: Data collector, used to collect tasks.
- PRO: Processor, used to process the collected tasks.
- In the Amount field, enter the number of tasks.
- Select a Status from the drop-down list.
- Select the Priority from the drop-down list. The list is sorted from highest to lowest priority. Hyland RPA Conductor executes the tasks with the highest priority first.
- Optional. In the Source field, enter the source of the task. For example, a 3rd party application or the agent that created the task.
- Optional. In the Input data field, enter the data the robot uses to execute the task. For example, a document number.
- Optional. In the Diversity field, enter a unique identifier for the task. This ensures that a task is unique, and that the environment does not contain the same task twice.
- Optional. To create the task only if no task with the same diversity already exists, select Check diversity.
- Optional. To allow repetitive runs, select Redoable.
- Optional. To schedule the task to run on a specific date, in the Execution date field, enter a date. If specified, the task will be created with the status Delayed.
- Optional. To create another task, select Create another task.
- Click Create Task.
