To create a task:
  1. In the left pane, on the Automations tab, click Tasks.
    The Tasks pane is displayed.
  2. Click Create Add.jpg
    The Create task dialog box is displayed.
  3. Select the required Process from the drop-down list.
  4. Select a Task type from the drop-down list:
    • DCO: Data collector, used to collect tasks.
    • PRO: Processor, used to process the collected tasks.
  5. In the Amount field, enter the number of tasks.
  6. Select a Status from the drop-down list.
  7. Select the Priority from the drop-down list. The list is sorted from highest to lowest priority. Hyland RPA Conductor executes the tasks with the highest priority first.
  8. Optional. In the Source field, enter the source of the task. For example, a 3rd party application or the agent that created the task.
  9. Optional. In the Input data field, enter the data the robot uses to execute the task. For example, a document number.
  10. Optional. In the Diversity field, enter a unique identifier for the task. This ensures that a task is unique, and that the environment does not contain the same task twice.
  11. Optional. To create the task only if no task with the same diversity already exists, select Check diversity.
  12. Optional. To allow repetitive runs, select Redoable.
  13. Optional. To schedule the task to run on a specific date, in the Execution date field, enter a date. If specified, the task will be created with the status Delayed.
  14. Optional. To create another task, select Create another task.
  15. Click Create Task.
