To update the configuration of a single task:

  1. In the left pane, on the Automations tab, select Tasks.
    The Tasks pane is displayed.
  2. Click next to the task whose configuration you want to update and then click View Task.
    The Task details pane is displayed.
  3. Click the Details tab.
    The Task options pane is displayed.
  4. Click Update Options.
    The Update Task Options dialog box is displayed.
  5. On the Service level tab:
    1. In the Expected runtime field, enter the expected execution time for the task, for example 30m or 1h 15m.
    2. In the Maximum runtime field, enter the maximum execution time for the task.
      Note: Hyland RPA Conductor terminates the task when the maximum runtime has expired, so set this value carefully.
    3. In the Maximum pending time field, enter the maximum time a task may remain in status Pending until the first run.
      Note: This setting is used for reporting purposes only.
  6. On the Options tab:
    1. Select the Protocol type from the drop-down list.
    2. From the Upload execution log drop-down list, select in which cases you want the system to upload a log after task execution.
      Note: We recommend selecting Failed or stopped.
    3. Optional. To prevent a screenshot from being uploaded when a task fails, for example if the screenshot might contain sensitive data, clear Upload screenshot on failure.
    4. Optional. To hide the bot command line during unattended task execution, clear Show bot command line.
  7. Click Update Task Options.
