You can define an override for an AFP Character Set Definition. This allows you to customize the height, width, character set, strike over, underline, and thus the typeface that a font renders with.

To define an override for an AFP Character Set Definition:

  1. Click Add CSDEF. The Customize CSDEF dialog box is displayed.
  2. Configure following options as required:
    Setting Description
    Char Set This value specifies the AFP Character Set Name the CSDEF applies to.
    FGID This value specifies the AFP Font Global Identifier that should be used with the Char Set.
    Height This value specifies the height of the character box in pixels to render each character.
    Width The value specifies the width of the character box in pixels to render each character.
    Strike Over Select if you want the font to render with strike over.
    Underline Select if you want the font to render with underline.
  3. Click OK to save the configurations or Cancel to close the dialog box.
