An AFP Character Set Definition (CSDEF) includes the height, width, character set, strike over, and underline. You can define these and thus customize the typeface that a font renders with.

Note:

You must be logged on to OnBase Configuration module and have accessed AFP Customize Fonts. If you have not yet logged on to the OnBase Configuration module, please complete the instructions under Accessing the AFP Customize Fonts feature.

To define an override for an AFP Character Set Definition:

  1. From the AFP Customize Fonts dialog box, click Add CSDEF.
    The Customize CSDEF dialog box is displayed.

  2. Configure the following options:
    Setting Description
    Char Set This value specifies the AFP Character Set Name the CSDEF applies to.
    FGID This value specifies the AFP Font Global Identifier that should be used with the Char Set.
    Height This value specifies the height of the character box in pixels to render each character.
    Width This value specifies the width of the character box in pixels to render each character.
    Strike Over Select this setting if you want the font to render with strike over.
    Underline Select this setting if you want the font to render with underline.
  3. Click OK.
    The configuration for the AFP CSDEF is saved.
