You can override the typeface and style of the font assigned to an AFP Font Global Identifier (FGID) value.

Note: You must be logged on to the OnBase Configuration module and have accessed AFP Customize Fonts. If you have not yet logged on to the OnBase Configuration module, please complete the instructions under Customizing Fonts Used to Render AFP Documents.

To define an override for an AFP Font Global Identifier:

  1. From the AFP Customize Fonts dialog box, click Add FGID.
    The Customize FGID dialog box is displayed.

  2. Configure the following options:
    Setting Description
    Fgid Enter the FGID for the AFP font you want to customize.

    For example, 38.

    Family Name Enter the font typeface family name for the override.

    For example, Lucida Console.

    Style Enter the font style for the override.

    For example, MODERN (This value corresponds to Microsoft logical font values of DECORATIVE, DONTCARE, MODERN, ROMAN, SCRIPT, or SWISS for Lucida Console).

    Weight Enter the font weight of the override.

    For example, BOLD (This value corresponds to Microsoft font weight values LIGHT, REGULAR, MEDIUM, BOLD, etc. for Lucida Console).

    Italic Select this setting to use the italic version of the typeface for the override.
  3. Click OK.
    The configuration for the AFP FGID is saved.
