You can create modifications, such as positioning overrides and character alterations, to a specific font called the font metric. A font metric is applied to a font that matches a combination of the code page name, font character set name, and coded font name.

AFP documents may need to use a font, which may be specific or custom to that document. You can specify a font metric override to adjust the output of that particular font.

If the override is applied to every font using a particular code page, the mappings or modifications you make may leave the font character set name or coded font name blank.

Note:

You must be logged on to the OnBase Configuration module and have accessed AFP Customize Fonts. If you have not yet logged on to the OnBase Configuration module, please complete the instructions under Customizing Fonts Used to Render AFP Documents.
