ICODED is an AFP font mapping concept most viewers use to map an IBM AFP font name to a font type face and code page that are relevant on what is rendering the AFP font. ICODED values are very AFP specific and include the AFP font name, AFP character set, and AFP code page values.

You can override the AFP character set and AFP code page used to render a particular AFP font.

Note:

You must be logged on to the OnBase Configuration module and have accessed AFP Customize Fonts. If you have not yet logged on to the OnBase Configuration module, please complete the instructions under Customizing Fonts Used to Render AFP Documents.

To override the AFP character set and AFP code page for a particular AFP font:

  1. From the AFP Customize Fonts dialog box, click Add ICODED. .
The Customize ICODED dialog box is displayed
    Customize ICODED dialog box
  2. Configure the following options:
    Setting Description
Font Name Enter the AFP font name to override.
Char Set Enter the font typeface family name to be used for the font name you specified.
Code Page Enter the font style to be used for the font name you specified.
  3. Click OK.
The configuration for the AFP ICODED is saved.
