You can modify how documents are rendered if an AFP file includes text rendering values that do not match standard AFP specifications or a document uses a typeface that Windows cannot render.

Note:

You must be logged on to OnBase Configuration module and have accessed AFP Customize Fonts. If you have not yet logged on to OnBase Configuration module, please complete the instructions under Accessing the AFP Customize Fonts Feature.

To modify any existing font or character customizations or font overrides:

  1. From the AFP Customize Fonts dialog box, click Browse.
  2. Navigate to the folder where a file containing font or character customizations is located.
  3. Select the .json file and click OK.
    The font or character customizations in this file are loaded and displayed under AFP Font Customizations.
  4. Select the font or character customization you want to modify. For more information on the font or character customization you can select, see the following topics:
  5. Select Edit.
    Based on your selection, a font customization dialog box is displayed.
    Note: To remove a font or character customization from the set of font overrides, select one or more font or character customizations and click Remove.
  6. After you have completed modifications to the font or character customizations, click Save.
    The file is saved in .json format to its original location.
