To use a set of existing character customizations or font overrides with OnBase, you must rename the .json file as AFPFontOverrides.json. This file must be accessible by the OnBase Client and an OnBase Application Server that is rendering AFP documents for viewing.

If this file is missing, the AFP Rendering module will use the default set of font mappings and parameters.

If the file is present, it loads the font and character customizations or font overrides into memory. When a font that matches the override criteria is in use, the overrides apply to the font output and the documents that use this font.
