The OnBase Administration Portal installer uses a wizard to install the necessary files for the OnBase Administration Portal.

To install the OnBase Administration Portal using the installer:

  1. Open the folder containing the OnBase Administration Portal installer.
  2. Double-click Hyland.OnBase.AdministrationPortal.Setup.exe.

    The Administration Portal Setup window is displayed.

  3. Click Install.

    After progressing through setup, the Administration Portal Setup wizard is displayed.

  4. Click Next.

    The IIS Settings page is displayed.

  5. From the Web Site drop-down list, select a web site location to install the OnBase Administration Portal.
  6. In the Application Name field, enter the name to use for the OnBase Administration Portal application in IIS.
  7. In the Application Pool field, enter the name for the OnBase Administration Portal's application pool.
  8. To configure the OnBase Administration Portal to use secure connections only, select the Require SSL option.
  9. Click Next.

    The Destination Folder page is displayed.

  10. To install the OnBase Administration Portal to a folder other than the default installation location, do one of the following:
    • Enter the destination folder in the provided field.

    • Click Change and browse to the destination folder.

  11. Click Next.

    The installer is ready to install the OnBase Administration Portal.

  12. Click Install.
  13. When the installation is complete, click Finish.

    The Administration Portal Setup window displays a confirmation message.

  14. Click Close.
  15. Modify the appsettings.json file as described under Modifying Application Settings.
