Single encoder mode provides the option to allow only one incoming stream to the Media Publisher service. Enabling this option also accepts the first acquire stream request, and ignores stream name matching.
To enable single encoder mode:
- Access the Media Publisher .config file. Typically it is located in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyland\Services\Media Publisher.
- Locate the MediaPublisher.exe.config file, and open it using a text editor.
- In the <Application> sub-section, locate the SingleEncoder="False" option.
- Enable single encoder mode by changing the value to True.
- Click Save to save your changes.
