The Media Type is used when creating meeting types in OnBase Agenda. It is necessary for archiving recorded media files to your local OnBase system. The media type is tied back to the document type you created in Setting up a Document Type for Media.

To configure a media type:

  1. Open the OnBase Configuration tool.
  2. From the Utils menu, select Media Services | Media Configuration | Media Type. The Media Type Configuration dialog box displays.
  3. In the field at the bottom of the dialog box, type a name for your media type.
  4. Click Create. The Media Type is displayed in the Media Type text box.
  5. Select the Media Type, and then click Settings. The Media Type Settings dialog box is displayed.
  6. Select the document type you created in Setting up a Document Type for Media.
  7. Click Save.
