To install the Media Publisher Service:

  1. From the Media Publisher\Service directory, double-click the Media Publisher.msi.
  2. Click Next at the Welcome screen. The Destination Folder dialog box is displayed.
  3. A default destination is displayed in the Install Hyland Media Publisher Service To: field. If you want to modify the location, click Change to install the service to a different directory.
  4. Click Next. The Data Source dialog box is displayed.
  5. Either type a Data source in the field, or select a data source from the drop-down list.
    Note:

    The Data source name entered here should be the name of the data source on the Application Server machine. The Media Publisher does not connect directly to a data source.

  6. Click Next. The NT Service User Account dialog box is displayed.
  7. Modify information in this dialog box only if you are running Media Publisher on a domain account. To activate the fields, select the Specify domain account to run NT Service check box, and then enter a user name an password for the account.
  8. Click Next. The OnBase Account dialog box is displayed.
  9. Type the Media User name you created in Setting up a Media User in the User Name field.
  10. Type and confirm the password for the Media user in the Password and C onfirm Password fields.
  11. Click Next. The Application Server URL dialog box is displayed.
  12. Check to ensure that the URL for your Application Server is correct. Modify it if necessary.
  13. Click Next. The Additional Settings dialog box is displayed.
  14. Enter the following information:
    • In the IP Address or Computer Name field, type the computer name or IP address of the Media Publisher.

    • In the Port field, type the port associated with your Media Publisher API.

    • In the Media Publisher Server Name field, enter the exact name you created for your media publish server. See Configuring the Media Publish Server to view the name you entered for the media publish server.

  15. Click Next. The Ready to Install screen is displayed.
  16. Click Install to complete the Media Publisher installation.
