You can use a WorkView filter to identify Primary and Secondary Keyword Values when users trigger an AutoFill Keyword Set during indexing or re-indexing.

Note:

You must configure a WorkView filter prior to completing the steps below. The order of the Keywords in the AutoFill Keyword Set must match the order of the Attributes in the WorkView filter for the Keyword Values to be triggered properly. For more information on creating a WorkView filter, see the WorkView | Case Manager help file or module reference guide.

Note:

Text, Formatted Text, and Long Alphanumeric attributes and external class types are not supported with External AutoFill Keyword Sets.

To associate a WorkView filter with an External AutoFill Keyword Set:

  1. From the AutoFill Keyword Sets Configuration dialog box, select the desired AutoFill Keyword Set Name.
  2. Click External to display the External AutoFill Keyword Set Configuration dialog box.
    Note:

    If the External button is not enabled, click Settings to ensure that you have External AutoFill Keyword Set selected and that you click Save to exit AutoFill Keyword Set Settings dialog box.

  3. Select the WorkView Filter radio button.
  4. Click the Select Filter button.

    The External AFKS WorkView Filter Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  5. Select the appropriate application from the Application drop-down list. This determines which classes are available.
  6. Select the appropriate class from the Class drop-down list. This determines which filters are available.
  7. Select the desired filter from the Filter drop-down list.
  8. Click Save. The WorkView filter is now associated with the External AutoFill Keyword Set.
