  1. Click the Keyword Exclusions button to further refine how Keyword Values are populated by the AutoFill Keyword Set once it is selected after a Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup. The Keyword Exclusions dialog box is displayed.
  2. If any Keyword Type that would normally be populated with a Value by the AutoFill Keyword Set should not have a value associated with it when using a Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup to expand an AutoFill Keyword Set, select the check box next to it. Now, when the AutoFill Keyword Set is expanded using this Reverse Keyword Lookup, a Keyword Value is not assigned to that Keyword Type.
  3. Double-click the Keyword Type to configure additional exclusion properties. The Keyword Exclusion Properties dialog box displays.

These properties can be configured for both the primary and secondary methods to expand the AutoFill Keyword Set.

    Note:

If no secondary action has been configured, the Secondary properties will not be available.

    Note:

These properties are set on a Keyword Type-basis. Each Keyword Type can have unique exclusion properties within one AutoFill Keyword Set.

The behavior of the Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup depends on the different options configured for each Keyword Type, as well as the options configured for the item as a whole. The Keyword Exclusion properties override (when necessary) options set for the Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup as a whole.

    Property

    Description

    No Modification

A Keyword Type configured for No Modification is populated with the appropriate Keyword Value from the AutoFill Keyword Set selected by the Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup.

    Exclude

A Keyword Type configured to Exclude is not populated by a Keyword Value from the AutoFill Keyword Set when the AutoFill Keyword Set is selected via a Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup.

    Note:

Configuring the Exclude property is the same as selecting the check box next to the Keyword Type in the initial Keyword Exclusions dialog box as previously described.

    Zero/Empty Value

When the AutoFill Keyword Set is selected via a Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup, a Keyword Type configured as a Zero/Empty Value is filled with a 0(zero) in the case of numeric Keyword Types or a null (blank) value in the case of alphanumeric Keyword Types instead of the Keyword Value associated with the selected AutoFill Keyword Set.

  4. When finished, click Save.
  5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4, if necessary, to configure Keyword Exclusion Properties for the other Keyword Types associated with the Reverse AutoFill Keyword Set Lookup and its AutoFill Keyword Set.
  6. When finished, click Save to exit the Keyword Exclusions dialog box.
