Note:

This option is available for non-revisable Document Types that do not allow multiple renditions. It can only be used on image documents.

CAUTION:

Before using this option, understand that this redaction method immediately deletes the original document from the Disk Group. Once you redact a document using this method, the original document is purged from the system and cannot be recovered.

  1. From the OnBase Configuration module, click Document | Document Types. The Document Types dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the Document Type to be configured from the Document Type list.
  3. Click Redaction. The Redaction Options dialog box is displayed.
  4. Select the Replace original redaction method radio button. The remaining options on the Redaction Options dialog box are disabled.
  5. Click Save.
