Depending on the configuration of your Automated Redaction solution, you may be able to perform an Automated Redaction process. An Automated Redaction process allows a large number of documents (belonging to one or more Document Types) to undergo Automated Redaction in a single process.
An Automated Redaction process can be configured to process only new documents (day-forward processing), only previously-archived documents (backfile processing), or both. For more information on these options, contact your System Administrator.
An Automated Redaction process can be run manually or it can be run automatically as a scheduled process.
If you have a large number of backfile documents to be processed, you can schedule a backfile process to run during non-peak hours. If the entire process is not completed by the time the allotted processing time ends, the Automated Redaction process will begin where it left off the next time it is run.
