The Hide Notes Check Box

Select this check box to hide all notes that have been applied to the document in the Document Viewer.

By default, the Pending Automated Redaction notes are configured to always be hidden; however, if the default configuration has been changed to allow Pending Automated Redaction notes to be displayed, be aware that they will not be hidden if the Hide Notes Check Box is displayed.

Note:

When you index documents that have undergone Advanced Capture processing, any Pending Automated Redaction notes are automatically hidden.

Tip:

When this option is selected, the notes are not displayed in the Document Viewer, but they are still applied to the document.

Deselect this check box to re-display all notes (except for the Pending Automated Redaction notes) on the document.

To display a Pending Automated Redaction note on the document, select its associated redaction in the Pending Redactions list.

The Keep Notes After Redaction Check Box

Select this check box to keep the Pending Automated Redaction notes on the original document after the redacted version of the document has been created. This option allows you to easily adjust which areas of the document will be redacted if, for instance, you have to create a new redacted version of the document when redaction requirements change.

The Show Redacted Document After Burn Check Box

Select this check box to automatically display the redacted version of the document once it is created.
