With the proper licensing and setup, Bar Code Processing can occur on the Data Capture Server. When the Data Capture Server Windows Service is installed and running, it polls batches and document sets for documents awaiting Bar Code Processing and automatically processes them. While client-side Bar Code Processing can still occur on batches in the OnBase Client, batch Bar Code Processing in the Unity Client can only occur on the Data Capture Server.
