Because scanning documents at higher resolutions results in larger file sizes, storage capacity can become a concern. Rather than sacrificing quality by scanning at lower resolutions, it is recommended that you scan documents at the optimal resolution (i.e., 300 dpi) and then use a scan queue's Image Processing option to scale down the resolution of the documents (i.e., to 200 dpi) to make the file sizes more manageable.
