An access violation is generated when I attempt to use the Hyland Bar Code Recognition software.

Workstations using the Hyland Bar Code Recognition software must have at least a 24-bit color video adapter running in at least 24-bit color mode. If this requirement is not met, the Hyland Bar Code Recognition software may generate an access violation.

Error! Scanned two consecutive bar code separator sheets with no document pages between them.

This error message is displayed if the Stop Scanner on Consecutive Bar Code Separator Sheets scan queue process option is selected (on the Capture tab of the Assign Process Options for <Scan Queue> dialog box) and two consecutive bar code separator sheets are detected in the batch.

Note:

This option is only respected if the Load keywords from bar codes and Discard pages with keyword bar codes options are selected for the configured Bar Code Process.

Tip:

This option is used to prevent a document from being indexed with the Keyword Value(s) from the previous document if that previous document is missing from the batch (i.e., two bar code sheets are consecutively placed in the batch because the document associated with the first bar code sheet is missing).

Note:

Depending on your scanner hardware, the scanner may stop scanning when the error message is displayed. If the scanner stops, the batch is discarded. If the scanner does not stop, the batch is saved and must be manually discarded.
