The remainder of the CAR/LAR configuration options are available in the A2iA CAR/LAR Settings dialog box in the OnBase Configuration module.

To access these options:

  1. From the OnBase Configuration module, click Import | Check Image Processor | Branch Capture CAR/LAR Configuration | A2iA CAR/LAR Configuration. The A2iA Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Enter the name of the A2iA configuration in the field and click Create. The CAR/LAR configuration is added to the A2iA Configurations list.
  3. Select the A2iA Configuration you created in Step 2 and click Settings. The A2iA CAR/LAR Settings dialog box is displayed.

    Description

    Parameter File Directory

    This field contains the path to the parameter file directory.

    C:\Program Files\A2iA\A2iA CheckReader V4.7 R2\Parms\Int\Parms should be used unless you decide to alter or create a new document table.

    Document Table File Path

    This field contains the file path to the document table.

    C:\Program Files\A2iA\A2iA CheckReader V4.7 R2\Data\Checks\CFUS_AMT\US_AMT.TBL should be used unless you decide to alter or create a new document table.

    High Water Mark Notification

    Enter a value in the High Water Mark (50-99)% field to determine when to notify the user that a specified percentage of his/her allotted CAR/LAR-processed documents has been consumed.

    For example, if this value is set to 80, a notification will be displayed to the user when 80% of his/her allotted CAR/LAR processes have been used.

    In the Notification drop-down, select the High Water Mark Notification that you want to use to warn users that the high water mark has been reached. For more information on configuring a high water mark notification, see Step 1: Configure the High Water Mark Notification.

    Certificates Depleted Notification

    In the Notification drop-down, select the Depleted Notification that you want to use to warn users that all CAR/LAR processes have been consumed. For more information on configuring a Depleted Notification, see Step 2: Configure the Depleted Notification.

    Notification Test

    These options allow you to test your High Water Notification and Depleted Notification messages.

    • Select Off to not send any test notifications.

    • Select High Water Notification to test your configured High Water Mark Notification.

    • Select Depleted Notification to test your configured Depleted Notification.

    To test your notifications, select one of the options above and run a Branch Capture Check Process (XML Format) format that has been configured to use CAR/LAR in the OnBase Client.

    The notifications are sent when the process is complete.

    License Verification

    This setting determines where the scanning client looks for the CAR/LAR dongle.

    • Select Local Dongle if the scanning client should search for the dongle on the local scanning workstation.

    • Select Network License Server if the scanning client should search a network server for the dongle. If this option is selected, you must enter the name or IP address of the server in the Network License Server Name or IP Address field.

    The Documents Used: / Remaining: and Days Used: / Remaining: numbers indicate how may of the allotted CAR/LAR processes have been used and how many remain.

  4. Set the options on the A2iA CAR/LAR Settings dialog box as needed, and click OK.
