A Check Import Process must be configured to import the batch of checks from the check data file.

Note:

For general check process configuration information, see the Check Image Processor module reference guide.

The Branch Capture Capture Check Processor (XML Format) is used to process the single XML check data file (the OnBase Client Post 8.2 (.xml) transmit file type, as configured in the Branch Capture scanning client).

To configure a Branch Capture Check Processor process:

  1. From the OnBase Configuration module, click Import | Check Image Processor | Branch Capture Check Processor (XML Format). The Branch Capture Check Process Configuration dialog box is displayed
  2. Enter a name for the process and click Create.
When creating your first Branch Capture check process, a message is displayed instructing you to add the Branch # and Teller # Keyword Types to the Check Image and Transit Item Document Types. After clicking OK, an additional message is displayed instructing you to add the MICR OnUS Field Keyword Type to the Transit Item Document Type in order to capture this field as a keyword on the document. After clicking OK, all three Keyword Types are created in OnBase. Add these Keyword Types to both Document Types before proceeding. These Keyword Values are imported into OnBase with the checks.
  3. Click Settings. The Process Settings dialog box is displayed.
