The Options tab contains settings that specifically affect the documents that are imported as part of the batch.

The following settings are displayed on the Options tab:

Setting Description
Run Process

Enables the process to store the documents identified from the import file in OnBase. This setting is selected by default.

The Run Process setting must be selected for the process to import documents into OnBase. Only deselect this setting when you need to test formats without saving the documents to OnBase.

If the Run Process setting is not selected, the Branch Capture process does not import documents intoOnBase.

The Download functions are performed regardless of whether the Run Process setting is selected. If the processor encounters an error within the import file, the import file is moved from its current folder to the ERROR_FILES sub-folder.

Note: If an error occurs, the import file is moved to the ERROR_FILES folder even if it is marked as read-only.
Add Documents to Workflow
Note: To use this option you must be properly licensed for Workflow.

Processed documents are placed into any Workflow Life Cycle associated with the Document Type that the documents belong to. Once the Add Documents to Workflow option is selected, you can:

  • Select During Processing to add the documents to a Workflow Life Cycle as they are processed.
  • Select On Commit to bring documents into the Workflow Life Cycle when a batch is committed.

When using the Core-based OnBase Client interface, if one or more documents are not successfully added to Workflow, the batch will be added to the Committed queue.

When using the classic OnBase Client interface, if one or more documents are not successfully added to Workflow, the batch will be added to the Incomplete Commit queue.

Note: Documents can only be added to Unity Life Cycles from the Core-based OnBase Client interface.
Tip: It is recommended to always select On Commit when using the Core-based OnBase Client interface.
CAUTION: It is required to select On Commit if your Workflow Life Cycle is configured to perform any System Work when using the Core-based OnBase Client interface.
Accumulate Processing Information

Combines several Verification Reports into a single, cumulative daily report.

After the process is run, OnBase produces and displays a Verification Report for the process. If your solution uses several different processors or process formats, you can combine each of these Verification Reports into a single, daily report for ease of viewing by selecting Accumulate Processing Information.

The Verification Report is stored as a text document in the System Documents Document Type Group, SYS Verification Reports Document Type.

Extract Index Information

Enables the check process format to perform Index Extraction. For example, compiling a list of Keyword Values from imported documents using the check process format.

To successfully perform Index Extraction:

  • One or more Index Extraction formats must be configured for your OnBase solution.
  • The check process format must be configured to use Index Extraction by selecting the Extract Index Information setting for the check process format.
  • An Index Extraction format must be assigned to the check process format.

See the System Administration documentation for information on configuring an Index Extraction format.

Store AutoFill Keyword Set Data

Stores Keyword Values from the import file as instances of an AutoFill Keyword Set.

If the Document Type assigned to the process is configured to use an AutoFill Keyword Set, select the Store AutoFill Keyword Set Data option to add an instance to the AutoFill Keyword Set for each document that is imported using the process format.

When an instance of the AutoFill Keyword Set is imported with the same primary Keyword Value as an existing instance, but with different secondary Keyword Values, an additional instance of the AutoFill Keyword Set is added.

Note: This option works with AutoFill Keyword Sets only assigned at the Document Type level.
