The configuration options for the Branch Capture scanning client are found in the Branch Capture Scanning Client Settings dialog box. This dialog box can only be accessed by appending the - ADMIN command line switch to the Branch Capture scanning client's shortcut.
For security purposes, command line switches cannot be appended to the shortcut created and placed on the workstation's desktop by default when the Branch Capture scanning client is installed. In order to add the -ADMIN command line switch to a Branch Capture scanning client shortcut, you must create a new shortcut directly from the Branch Capture scanning client's executable.
To access the Branch Capture Scanning Client Settings dialog box:

A message is displayed warning you of some of the administrative features that are available. Click OK to continue.
The scanning client is opened in Active Batches view.
Note that the Settings toolbar button has been added to the toolbar.

Click the Settings toolbar button.
The Branch Capture Scanning Client Settings dialog box is displayed.
The Branch Capture Scanning Client Settings dialog box contains four tabs: the General tab, the File Transmission tab, the Encoding tab and the CAR/LAR tab.
