If you want to use the CAD Document Viewer on a workstation, the Teigha toolkit must be installed on that workstation.

If you want Web Client users to be able to view CAD documents as PDFs in the Web Client, the Teigha toolkit must be installed on the same machine as the Web Client's Application Server.

To install the Teigha toolkit:

  1. Run the Hyland Teigha Toolkit x64.msi for 64-bit workstations or the Hyland Teigha Toolkit x86.msi for 32-bit workstations. The Hyland Teigha Toolkit Setup wizard is displayed.
  2. Click Next. The Destination Folder page is displayed.
  3. Enter the file path to the Application Server directory in the Install Hyland Teigha Toolkit field. In a default installation, the file path is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\AppServer\. If the Application Server was installed to a different location, enter a different location or click Change to navigate to the Application Server directory location.
    If Change is clicked, then the Change destination folder dialog box is displayed.
    Enter a Folder name in the field provided or select it from the Look in drop-down list, then click OK.
  4. Click Next. The Ready to install page is displayed.
  5. Click Install.
  6. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
