Due to the compound structure of CAD documents imported via DIP, OnBase stores information about each CAD document in the OnBase database and must be able to uniquely identify each document using this information.
Duplicates of compound CAD documents currently available in OnBase or deleted CAD documents still available in Document Maintenance cannot be imported into OnBase using the same project.
To “re-import” a compound CAD document that has previously been imported into OnBase via DIP, either specify a different project when reimporting or purge the original CAD document from OnBase.
