A workstation that is registered for Document Import Processor and CAD Services can import child documents into OnBase via DIP.
CAD documents imported using the Document Import Processor module must have a parent document already residing in OnBase. This process is specifically for adding child documents to existing parent documents.
Note:
AutoDesk Inventor drawings cannot be imported into OnBase via DIP.
Depending on how your system is configured, documents that already reside in OnBase may not be able to be re-imported.
