  1. In the Configuration module, select Import | Check Image Processor | Transaction Code Mapping. The Institution Tran Code dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the institution for which to configure the transaction codes. Either select an existing institution number in the selection box, or create a new institution by typing a number in the text box at the bottom of the dialog and clicking Create.
    Note:

If you are not using different institution numbers, then select the default value of 0 in the selection box.

  3. Click Settings. The Tran Code Mapping dialog box is displayed. Currently configured transaction codes are displayed.
  4. To add a new mapping, type the number that corresponds to the new transaction code in the Code text field. Select the Document Type that will be associated with that transaction code from the Document Type drop-down list to the right of the text field. The only Document Types that will be available are the ones specifically created for a check process when the database was configured.
    Note:

Transaction codes are limited to 5 digits.

To re-map a transaction code, you must first select that code number from the list and delete the entry by clicking Delete before re-mapping the value with a different Document Type.

  5. Validation is used to bring up the Keyword Validation dialog box to set up which keywords to validate when statement rendering. For more information, see the Image Statements Help System.
