Once Costpoint content types and content data fields have been configured, you must associate the content types with the Costpoint applications and result sets that will use the documents and data from OnBase. This step also involves mapping each content data field to the corresponding Costpoint screen object. The screen object is the field or control that the Costpoint end user interacts with directly.

This configuration is performed in the Costpoint web client by navigating to Administration | System Administration | Content Management | Application\Content Links.

The following fields are required for associating Costpoint application screens with Costpoint content types; additional settings may be necessary depending on the needs of your solution:

Costpoint Field

Description

Application

Enter or look up the Costpoint application.

Result Set

Enter or look up the Costpoint result set within the specified Application.

Content Type

Enter or look up the Costpoint content type.

Content Property Mismatch

Specify what Costpoint should do when a user attempts to link an OnBase document and a Costpoint record in which the mapped data field values do not match.

The Content Data Fields section allows you to map the Costpoint content data fields in the current content type to the Costpoint interface screen objects.

Use the Autoload Content Type Data Fields button to populate the section with the content data fields in the current content type. For each row, enter or look up the name of the screen object in the Costpoint Screen Object column.
