You must set up a Costpoint content type for each OnBase Document Type involved in the integration. Configuring a content type in Costpoint also involves mapping Costpoint content data fields to corresponding OnBase Keyword Types.
This configuration is performed in the Costpoint web client by navigating to Administration | System Administration | Content Management | Content Types.
The Identification section involves defining the Costpoint content type and mapping it to a Document Type in OnBase. The following fields are required; additional settings may be necessary depending on the needs of your solution:

Content Type Name |
Enter or look up the OnBase Document Type to be associated with the current Costpoint content type. |
Base Folder |
Set to /. This field cannot be left blank. |
Attachment Property |
Enter or look up the OnBase Keyword Type that has been configured to store the Attachment Property of the document. See Configuring the Attachment Property Keyword Type. |
