Locate the obclnt32.exe.config file for the OnBase Client or the obcfg32.exe.config file for the Configuration module. To enable signature verification:

  1. Open the file for editing in a plain-text editor, such as Notepad.
  2. Locate the generatePublisherEvidence element.
  3. Change the enabled attribute to true:
    <generatePublisherEvidence enabled="true"/>
  4. Save and close the file.
    Note:

    If the machine running the executables does not have Internet access, or the speed of the network to which it is connected is slow, it could take a noticeably long time to perform this check, causing the application to take longer to launch.
