You can configure your OnBase Client to automatically log in using your credentials. To set up an automatic login, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the OnBase Client desktop icon and select Properties.
  2. Click the Shortcut tab.
  3. In the Target field, add the following command line statement after the existing text. Place a space between the existing text and this command line statement. -AL UN="<user name>" PW="<password>"
    Note:

To improve your system's logon security, you can remove the PW="<password>" part of the command line statement. By doing so, the Client Logon dialog box will be displayed with your user name already filled in - however, you will have to enter your password to log on to the system.

  4. Click OK.

The next time the OnBase Client is launched from this shortcut, you will automatically be logged on to the system.

Note:

You will be logged on using the Default Database Source specified in the Workstation Options dialog box (accessed by selecting User | Workstation Options).
