For a user to be able to create new combined view types or modify these types in Configuration, that user needs to have the associated rights grants to their User Group. To do this:

In Configuration, click on Users | User Groups / Rights. The User Groups & Rights page is displayed.
- Select the appropriate User Group and click Configuration Rights.

In the Configuration Rights page, click on the Products tab.
- Under the Products tab, click the check box next to Combined Viewer Configuration to grant the User Group rights to configure new combined views.

With Combined Viewer Configuration enabled, several different options exist for User Group rights that are now available, including:

Assign any Combined Views
Allows users in the User Group to edit combined view types and assign users to those combined view types, regardless of whether the user belongs to a User Group that has been granted access to the combined view type.
Note:This does not grant the user the ability to assign groups to which the user does not belong to combined views. The ability to assign non-member groups can only be achieved by making the user a User Group administrator.
Assign any View Tabs
Allows users in the User Group to edit view tabs and assign users to those tabs, regardless of whether the user belongs to a User Group that has been granted access to the tabs.
Note:This does not grant the user the ability to assign groups to which the user does not belong to tabs. The ability to assign non-member groups can only be achieved by making the user a User Group administrator.
Assign any AutoFill Keyword Set
Allows users to assign any AutoFill Keyword Set to a combined view type regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the AutoFill Keyword Set.
Assign Custom Query Type
Allows user to assign any custom query to a view tab regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the custom query.
Assign any Document Type
Allows users in the User Group to assign any document types available to combined view types as an import document type.
Assign any Workflow Lifecycle Queue
Allows user to assign any Queue to a view tab, regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the Lifecycle.
Assign any Workview Class filter
Allows user to assign any WorkView Filter to a view tab, regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the Filter.
Note:WorkView filters are only available in Unity Combined Viewer.
- Once you have selected the proper rights to grant to the selected User Group, click Save to save your selections.
