User groups can be granted access to specific tabs. To assign user groups to the tabs of a combined view type:

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Queries | Combined View Configuration. The Combined View Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the combined view type with the tab to which you want to assign user groups and click View Tabs. The View Tabs Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  3. Select the appropriate tab and click User Groups. The <Tab Name> User Group Configuration page is displayed.
  4. From the Available User Groups list, select the user groups that should have access to this tab and click Add. The selected user group(s) appear in the Selected User Groups list. To remove a user group's access to the tab, select the user group in the Selected User Groups list and click Remove.
    Note:

    The Available User Groups are limited only to those User Groups that have permission to access the applicable combined view type. If you cannot find the the User Group you want to grant access to this tab in this menu, ensure that the desired User Group has access to the combined view type. For more information on this, see Assigning User Groups to Combined View Types.

  5. When the desired user groups have been assigned, click Close.
