Tabs can be configured to have individual descriptions of their contents as well as use different colors in the Combined Viewer for easy identification. To configure the tab display settings for a combined view type:

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Queries | Combined View Configuration. The Combined View Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. From the Combined View Type list, select the combined view that contains the tab whose display settings you want to configure.
  3. Click View Tabs. The View Tabs Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  4. From the View Tab Name list, select the tab you want to configure.
  5. Click Display. The <Tab Name> Display Settings dialog box is displayed.
  6. In the Description field, enter a description for the tab.
  7. Select Show Count if you want the tab to display a total count of items listed.
  8. Under Tab Color, click Select Color. The Color dialog box is displayed.

    To pick a custom color, click Define Custom Colors to open the color scale.

    Select a new color from the color scale by clicking on a section of the scale and sliding the target to a specific hue. Add the color to the Customs colors section of the Color dialog box by clicking Add to Custom Colors.

  9. Select the color you want for the tab from the basic or custom colors.
    Note:

    The default tab color is black.

  10. Click OK.
  11. Click Save.
