WorkView filters are only available in Unity Combined Viewer.

To be used as tabs in Combined Viewer, WorkView filters must have a Keyword Type Map configured for the combined view filter keywords. Without a Keyword Type Map configured, the WorkView tab will not be available for selection from the WorkView Filter drop-down list in the <Tab Name> Settings dialog box.

To configure the Keyword Type Maps in OnBase Studio:

  1. Click Keyword Type Maps in the WorkView toolbar. The Keyword Type Maps dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the appropriate class for the Keyword Type Map.
  3. Click Add. The Keyword Type Map Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  4. Type a name for the Keyword Type Map in the Name field.
  5. Under Left, click ... to open a list of available attributes.
  6. Select an attribute from the list to map to a configured combined view filter keyword.
  7. Under Right, select a configured combined view filter keyword from the drop-down list and click Add. The Keyword Type Map is added to the list.
  8. Click OK. The Keyword Type Map Configuration window is closed. Your new Keyword Type Map is shown in the Keyword Types Map dialog box.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Save the repository by clicking on the Save Repository button in the upper left of the Studio window.
  11. Confirm that the mapped keyword is a display column for the relevant filters by selecting the proper filter and finding the mapped keyword in the Display Columns tab. If it is not, click Add to add the keyword as needed. For more information on these settings, see the WorkView module reference guide.
    Note:

    The Keyword Type must be included as a display column in oder to properly appear in the Combined Viewer.

Once the Keyword Type Map has been properly configured, the WorkView filter is available for selection during tab configuration. For more information on configuring a tab to include a WorkView filter, see Creating Tabs.
