To create and configure a new tab for a combined view type:

In OnBase Configuration, select Queries | Combined View Configuration. The Combined View Configuration dialog box is displayed.

Select the combined view type to which you want to add a new tab and click View Tabs. The View Tab Configuration dialog box is displayed.
- Type the name of the tab in the field provided.

Click Create. The <Tab Name> Settings dialog box is displayed.

Under View Tab Source, select the source you want to associate to this tab:

Select Custom Query if you want the displayed document results to be based on a previously created custom query. Select the desired custom query from the drop-down list. For more information on custom queries, see the System Administration module resource guide.
Note:
The list of available custom queries only includes those configured within Configuration, and does not include personal queries created within the Combined Viewer.

Select WorkView Filter if you want the displayed results to be based on a previously created WorkView filter.
Note:
WorkView filters are only available in Unity Combined Viewer.
Select the class the desired WorkView filter belongs to from the Class drop-down list. Then select the filter from the Filter drop-down list. If a WorkView filer is not available from the drop-down list, ensure that it is properly configured in OnBase Studio. For more information, see Configuring WorkView Filters for Combined Viewer Unity Tabs.
Note:To access a WorkView filter tab, users must have permissions to the WorkView class and filter bar item. The filter must be also be assigned to a filter bar that the user has permission to access.
Note:WorkView Filters used for this purpose should not rely on user input as constraints as there will be no opportunity for the user to enter the input from the combined viewer context.

Select Workflow Queue if you want the displayed results to be based on a previously created Workflow queue. Select the Document Lifecycle from the Lifecycle (Document Lifecycles Only) drop-down list that the Workflow queue belongs to. Select the desired Workflow queue from the Queue drop-down list. if the Workflow queue does not appear in the Queue drop-down list, ensure that the proper Lifecycle has been selected. Note:
Workflow tabs use the configured Workflow Default Filter for the chosen Workflow. For more information on configuring the Workflow Default Filter, see the Workflow module reference guide.

Select Document and Recent Documents if you want the displayed results to be based on your most recently viewed documents.
Note:
The Recent Documents tab is only available in Unity Combined Viewer.

Select Custom Query if you want the displayed document results to be based on a previously created custom query. Select the desired custom query from the drop-down list. For more information on custom queries, see the System Administration module resource guide.
- Click Save. The tab is added to the View Tab Name list.
